We were at the Jurong Bird Park some 2 weeks ago. We were never big morning people so we got there just in time to race through a few exhibits before lunch. Then we rolled around for a little more and decided to zip off to avoid the approaching clouds.
So yes, it is the home of the world's tallest man-made waterfall but we never got to it. And quite honestly, I think one visit to the Jurong Bird Park per decade is quite enough, thank you. Because, as compared to the Zoo, the Bird Park only has, well, birds.
The first bird we saw was.... A cow.
Poppy really enjoyed showing me how she imitated the flamingoes by standing on one leg
Flamingo talk and what not
Snacks. A good idea to bring a load of them. Cheese, corn, biscuits, crackers... You name it
Honestly, are you even looking at the birds?
There was a bird feeding session but we were too cheap to pay $3 for a small cup of food were afraid of getting eaten up by the ferocious creatures
Err, ostrich
Poppy looks suspiciously at the jiejie adding colour to her arm "Are you sure you know what you're doing?"
Poppy got inked to commemorate the visit to the Bird Park
And it lasted all throughout the day. This $3 was well spent indeed
