Undeterred by rising fuel and COE prices, we tightened our belts even further (well, actually just Max. Belts don't fit me anymore), and invested in a car for Poppy. And if it's not that obvious, it can either be Lightning McQueen, or the Big Red Car from The Wiggles.
It was made with an old laundry detergent box, kindly contributed by our neighbourhood supermarket, a few coats of red spray paint, and recycled drawing block. Poppy loves it and has taken it for a spin around the neighbourhood.
I made it over several days while she was in school, and now on the way home, she asks "What did you make for me today, Mama?". Yikes. I've dug quite a hole for myself.
